Lam Kam Sang® Child Tussicure is produced based on the precious recipe of Dr. Lam Kam Sang, director of Lam Kam Sang Medical Research Institute Ltd. It is made from extracts of various high quality and rare traditional Chinese medicines by using advanced technology.

Cold in children is often complcated with retractable cough, chroric bronchitis, and asthma, which are sometimes difficult to treat and trouble parents. Lam Kam Sang® Child Tussicure can improve the resistance and promote the recovery of bronchial mucosa. It is particularly effective in eradicating respiratory inflammation and hypersensitivity without causing any adverse effects. Improvement of symptoms is usually observed after 3-5 days of treatment. The cure rate after 5-30 days of treatment is more than 95%. Surprisingly, Lam Kam Sang® Child Tussicure also improves appetite and general health. INDICATION:

Retractable cough or bronchitis following cold and fever.
Allergic bronchitis, chronic bronchitis, or early stage of asthma.
 
MAIN INGREDIENTS:


Periostracum Cicadae 10%, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae 10%,
Radix Glehniae 15%, Nervilla Fordii (Hance) Schltr 10%,
Endothelium Corneum Gigeriae Galli 10%, Concretic Silicea Bambusae 10%,
Ret Nervus Luffae Fructus 10%, Radix Saposhnikoviae 10%,
Herba Houttuyniae 10%, Radix Glycyrrhizae 5%.
Each pill of Lam Kam Sang® Child Tussicure contains 0.4 gram extract of Chinese raw herbs.
 
CONTRAINDICATIONS:


Fever, cold, acute bacterial infectious diseases should temporarily stop taking Lam Kam Sang® Child Tussicure.
 
ADMINISTRATION:

One dose of Lam Kam Sang® Child Tussicure, twice a day, taken with warm water after breakfast and dinner. Each dose varies according to the age of child as following:

Under 6 months 1
6 months - 1 year 2
1 year - 2 years and half 3
2 years and half - 4 years 4
4 - 6 years 5
6 - 8 years 6
8 - 10 years 7

The dosage can be increased accordingly if the child is bigger for his/her age.
Another additional dose can be added at midnight in severe cases.
Powder can be removed from the capsules and mixed with glucose in warm water for children who can not swallow the capsule whole.
 
 
COURSE AND INSTRUCTION:

1. Course for continuing treatment:
A.

Repeated cough complicated cold can be cured after 5-20 days of treatment.
B.

Allergic bronchitis can be cured after 25-35 days of treatment.
C.

Chronic bronchitis can be cured after 30-45 days of treatment.
D. 80% of children with chronic bronchitis complicated with mild asthma can be cured after 30-50 days of treatment.
2.

Lam Kam Sang® Child Tussicure cannot be taken during the acute stage of cold, especially when there is a fever, which should be treated first.
3.

Some children may have more cough in the first 1-3 fays of treatment because Lam Kam Sang® Child Tussicure is eliminatin sputum. Symptoms will improve rapidly when the sputum is coughed up.
4. Lam Kam Sang® Child Tussicure is not suitable for treatment of cough not caused by bronchitis or hypersensitivity. Cough not responding to Lam Kam Sang® Child Tussicure after 5-7 days of treatment is most likely caused by chronic pharyngitis, which has dry cough, mucosal congestion, pharyngeal follicies, and erosion. This is generally caused by infection and should be treated by specialist or in Lam Kam Sang Medical Research Institute Ltd.
5. The following foods or medicines should be abstained temporally during or shortly after treatment:
A.

Prawn, crab, shell fish. For severe cases, sea-foods, chicken tortoise.

B.

Chocolate and roastec nuts such as peanut, cashew nut.
C.

Cool fruits such as pear, orange.
D. Sausage, fried or overcooked foods.
E. Any medicines, either western medicines or traditional herbs except antibiotics or medicines for treating cold.
 
 
STORAGE:

To be kept in a cool place. The product expiries in 3 years.
