Major Causes and Symptoms
The prostate gland is the biggest attached gland of the male genitor-urinary system which can effectively maintain the sexual and urinary functions of the body. Infectious bacteria or viruses such as gonococcus, chlamydia, mycoplasma, Candida, trichomonas etc. as well as some unidentified viruses which are infected during unclean intercourse may eventually lead to chronic prostatitis, which major symptoms include burning pain in the urethra; frequency and slow urinary flow; abnormal discharge of fluid found at the entrance of the urethra; burning and stressing pain in the perineal and anal areas; swelling pain and soreness of the groin and testes; sexual dysfunction and sterility etc. Hardening and unbalanced form or irregular mass can be detected through palpation and scans.
